PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladder fixing device for a cylinder allowing the ladder fixing device to be easily and positively attached to and detached from a step bar in the uppermost step of an optional general-purpose ladder so that a worker can carry out safe work on the cylinder at a high spot, and positively fixing a ladder only by pressing the device to the cylinder. SOLUTION: The ladder fixing device for the cylinder is provided with a U-shaped cover body and a vertical angle adjustable mechanism at the front face, and fixable only by placing a ladder against the cylinder and pressure-welding the ladder by sticking a wide belt with a silicon-based nonslip agent impregnated and applied, to a lateral pair of resin arms. The ladder fixing device is composed of an opening/closing type L-shaped fitting provided at the center lower part of the cover body and easily attached to and detached from the uppermost step bar of the optional ladder, and further constituted of a hinge, a clasp, a set bolt with a fixing knob, and a pressure slip ring in the feature.
