<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document monitoring system capable of uniformly monitoring electronic document browsing or the outflow of printed matters to all users without application dependence. <P>SOLUTION: This system that uses a font file and a font manager to display or print an electronic document has a dedicated font including address data in addition to font data including a plurality of character forms and a dedicated font manager for processing the dedicated font.
