<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a large side opening reduces a strength of a catheter and that a slit hardly ensures a sufficient bore as a passage opening in a general method to provide the side opening or the slit to the catheter as the passage opening to make a microcatheter and a guide wire pass from a lumen of the catheter to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The catheter which has no unnecessary bore in administering a liquid medicine and has the bore expanded in making the microcatheter and the guide wire pass is acquired by providing the slit in the axial direction of the catheter at an end part of the side opening.
