摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noiseless solid-state image pickup device capable of reading a precise signal. SOLUTION: The solid-state image pickup device comprises a photoelectric conversion element that is formed on the same semiconductor substrate and is arranged two-dimensionally, a read circuit 06 for successively reading the signal of the photoelectric conversion element, an amplification circuit for amplifying the successively read signal, and a means for adjusting the offset of output with the output from the amplification circuit as input. In this case, as an offset adjustment means, first and second offset adjustment means are provided. By the first offset adjustment means, feedback correction is made so that the difference is eliminated between the voltage during the arbitrary period of the output and a first arbitrary reference voltage. By the second offset adjustment means, the voltage difference is outputted between the reset period of the output of the first offset adjustment means and an output period with a second reference voltage as a reference.
