PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AV apparatus connectable to a control apparatus such as a digital television receiver via a prescribed I/F wherein a function module mounted on the AV apparatus is controllable by control information of another function module compatible with the control apparatus and is integrated with the other function module compatible with the control apparatus, and the AV apparatus can display a list. SOLUTION: The AV apparatus 1 includes: the function modules 3, 4 such as an AV-HDD and a Blue-ray Disc; a means connected to the control apparatus (tuner built-in digital television receiver or the like) capable of controlling the other function module (D-VHS or the like) than the function modules 3, 4 via an IEEE1394 I/F; and a pseudo function module 2 for converting the control information from the control apparatus to control the function modules 3, 4.
