PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, when incorporating a resistor and a diode into an external circuit wherein a transistor is incorporated fro shortening the turn-off-time of the transistor, it is necessary to secure a space for incorporating the resistor and the diode, and also wiring for the resistor and the diode must be installed in a circuit substrate, thus causing disturbance for the downsizing of an electronic apparatus and an increase in cost caused by an increase in the number of part items and an increase in the number of assembling processes. SOLUTION: In a semiconductor device, a diode is formed of an anode region 4 which is formed at the same time when a base region 2 of a transistor is formed in a semiconductor substrate and of a cathode region 5 which is formed at the same time when an emitter region 3 of the transistor is formed. Further, one end of a conductor layer 6 is connected with the anode region 4 of the diode, and the other end of the conductor layer 6 is connected with the cathode region 5 of the diode. The turn-off time of the transistor is made short by interposing connectively in parallel with each other the resistor and the diode between the base region 2 of the transistor and a cathode electrode 9 of the diode.
