PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens meter capable of grasping easily a distribution of an optical characteristic value of a lens to be inspected. SOLUTION: This lens meter has an illumination optical system 100 for projecting measuring light to the lens L to be inspected; a light-receiving optical system 110 for receiving the measuring light transmitted through the lens L to be inspected; an optical characteristic operation part 22 for calculating the optical characteristic value of the lens L to be inspected based on the received measuring light; a mapping formation part 24 for forming a mapping image for showing the distribution of the optical characteristic value of the lens L to be inspected based on the calculated optical characteristic value; and a display part 3 for displaying the formed mapping image. The lens meter further has a display size changing part 25 for changing the display size of the display part 3 of the mapping image formed by the mapping formation part 24 so as to agree with the size of the lens L to be inspected.
