PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting jig for stably and surely fitting a fixture coupling to one end of a coil spring a snap ring part for a hole having a larger diameter than the coil spring has. SOLUTION: The mounting jig is equipped with a shaft body made up of an elastically diameter-reducible rod-like body and containing in the tip of the rod-like body a locking part to which the fixture can be fitted by being engaged with a snap ring part for a hole of the fixture from the inside, a through hole through which the shaft body including the fixture in the tip can be inserted, and a cylinder body in which the diameter of the shaft body inserted through the through hole is reduced in accordance with the insertion length. Preferably, the shaft body is equipped with a long slit cut in the axial direction from the tip. The cylinder body is provided with an inner wall surface whose diameter is gradually reduced from one end side through which the shaft body is inserted toward the other end side.
