PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear compressor preventing wear and deformation of a part when an outer circumference surface of a delivery spring and a delivery cover touch and improving durability of the delivery spring and the delivery cover by supporting load applied by the delivery spring. SOLUTION: A spring seat is attached to the delivery cover to prevent an end part and an outer circumference surface of the delivery spring from touching the delivery cover, and surface treatment of hard metal material is applied on the spring seat. Consequently, not only wear and deformation due to repetitive load of the delivery spring is prevented but also durability is improved by making the delivery spring withstand excessive load and local load.
