PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of restraining an increase in fuel pressure in fuel passages by the expansion of fuel in the fuel passages, in a fuel supply device. SOLUTION: This fuel supply device has a fuel pump 1 for delivering the fuel, the fuel passages 3, 4, 7 and 8 connected to the fuel pump 1 and flowing the fuel delivered from the fuel pump 1, a backflow preventive valve 5 arranged in the middle of the fuel passages 3, 4, 7 and 8, and a space part 6 for storing air by the fuel passages downstream of the backflow preventive valve 5. When the fuel expands, the fuel flows in the space part 6 while compressing the air in the space part 6, and an increase in the fuel pressure is restrained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
