PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a silencer, by preventing the oxidation action by exhaust heat of exhaust gas. SOLUTION: Two expansion chambers are formed by adjacently inserting two vessels of a shape insertable into a casing for constituting a silencer body in the longitudinal direction into a baffle plate of the casing. An exhaust pipe from an engine is penetrated by abutting on the upstream side baffle plate and the expansion chambers, and the upstream side expansion chamber is fixed to the casing by welding in a penetrating part. The exhaust pipe for forming an exhaust port is penetrated through the downstream side baffle plate and the expansion chambers, and the downstream side expansion chamber is fixed to the casing. An exhaust hole is bored on a peripheral surface of a part positioned between both expansion chambers of the respective exhaust pipes. The vessels are formed in a lunch box shape, and the volume of the vessels is varied by sliding its lid and a receiving part. The exhaust pipe for forming the two exhaust ports is welded to both expansion chambers and the upstream-downstream side baffle plates, and both expansion chambers are fixed to the casing.
