PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a net-repairing fiber and a net-fastening fiber capable of being used for repairing and fastening a net, respectively, by being joined to the net given by net making, having excellent flexibility as characteristics so as to make a knot easily tightened and hardly loosened, having enough tensile strength, tensile elongation, and coloration similar to those of the net, and capable of being advantageously given from a viewpoint of a cost. SOLUTION: The net-repairing fiber and the net-fastening fiber are each used by being joined to the net given by the net making, wherein each of the fibers comprises multifilament yarn containing polyethylene terephthalate as a main component, contains a pigment in an amount of 0.3-1.0 mass% based on a mass of the fiber, and has a single fiber fineness of 3.5-5.0 dtex, a tensile strength at break of 6.5-8.5 cN/dtex, and a tensile elongation at break of 14-20%.
