PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for unloading a load used in a boom type crane capable of preventing a horizontal component of force from occurring from the suspended load to an unloading position when the suspended load is unloaded to the unloading position. SOLUTION: Detection signals from an unloading instruction means 14 and a load detection means 13 are inputted into a controller 11, and the following first and second procedures are performed by the controller 11. In the first procedure, when the unloading instruction signals from the unloading instruction means 14 are received, winch hoist-down instruction signals are outputted to a winch control valve 10a until it is detected by the detection signals from the load detection means 14 that the suspended load 12 touches the ground. In the second procedure, boom fall instruction signals are outputted to a derricking control valve 8a after the first procedure is completed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
