PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsion beam type suspension device capable of easily setting the torsional rigidity and the shear center of a torsion beam, and suppressing generation of abnormal noise associated with the torsion of the beam. SOLUTION: A torsion beam is formed in a substantially V-shaped section while an intermediate portion 21 in the axial direction is squeezed, and provided with an outer wall 21a and an inner wall 21b in the intermediate portion 21. A plurality of projections 21a1 (projecting parts) of the outer wall 21a are abutted on the inner wall 21b. The plurality of projections 21a1 are arranged along the axial direction of the torsion beam with a predetermined interval on the same line. A space 21c between walls corresponding to the height of the projections 21a1 is ensured between the outer wall 21a and the inner wall 21b. The space 21c between the walls is set to be a predetermined value considering the torsional rigidity and the position of the shear center of the torsion beam. Since the outer wall 21a and the inner wall 21b are abutted on each other via the projections 21a1, generation of abnormal noise caused by sliding contact of the walls 21a, 21b with each other can be suppressed.
