<p>A beverage container in which powdered tea is normally received in a sealed manner in a cap and which mixes for drinking purpose the powdered tea with drinking water received in a body to enable flavored good tea to be tasted. A cap (1) is constructed so as to be removably screwed to a bottle opening (10a) of a beverage container body (10) in which drinking water (11) is received. The cap (1) has on its upper part a rotatably held openable lid (2) and has in it a pressing cap (4) that is vertically moved by rotational motion of the openable lid (2). At the lower part of the pressing cap (4) is provided a hollow-cylindrical container (3) for receiving a mixture (5), and mechanically weak section (3e) is formed at the bottom surface (3d) of the container (3). In the container (3), a pressing rod (3a) formed integral with the bottom surface (3d) is projected upward. To have a beverage, the openable lid (2) is turned to cause the pressing cap (4) to be pushed downward. This breaks and opens the mechanically weak section (3e) of the bottom surface (3d) of the container (3), allowing the mixture (5) in the container (3) to fall into the drinking water (11).</p> |
