<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum encryption communications system can distribute a shared key for the encryption communication to a base station at a distance exceeding 100 km away for which the shared key for the quantum encryption could not be generated directly in the past. <P>SOLUTION: The quantum encryption shared key K1 is generated with a quantum encryption protocol between the base station 1 and base station 2, and the quantum encryption shared key K2 is generated between the base station 2 and base station 3. The base station 2 uses the quantum encryption shared key K2 to encrypt the quantum encryption shared key K1 itself, and sends a Vernam cipher text 201 to the base station 3. The base station 3 obtains the quantum encryption shared key K1, by decrypting the Vernam cipher text 201 sent from the base station 2 by using the quantum encryption shared key K2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
