PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a container which has a simple water-supplying mechanism, can culture a plant without finely managing the supply of water, and can keep the inside of the container at a lower temperature than that of the atmosphere. SOLUTION: This container for appreciating the plant has a bottom surface portion 1 having a drain hole 1a formed therein, a wall portion 2 upwardly extended from the periphery of the bottom surface portion 1, and a wall portion 3 upwardly extended from the inside of the bottom surface portion 1 to connect to the wall portion 2. A space is formed between the wall portion 2 and the wall portion 3, and is used as a water-storing portion 4 for storing water. A water supply port 5 for communicating the water-storing portion 4 with the outside is formed in the upper portion of the space to pour water in the water-storing portion 4.
