PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polyamide porous body in a double-layered structure having the first porous body having air-permeability and water-penetrability, enabling air or water to be excellently introduced to the second porous body, capable of supporting the second porous body, and formed on the second porous body, within a comparatively short time, and to facilitate the reuse of the used polyamide porous body. SOLUTION: An undiluted solution is prepared by dissolving a polyamide in an alcoholic solution of calcium chloride, and standing a mixed solution obtained by mixing the undiluted solution with sodium chloride or sodium sulfate in a container still with the container at 0-40°C in 60-100% relative humidity. Water is added to the resultant mixed solution from the surface of the solution to form the polyamide first porous body 11 comprising closed porous network texture, and the water is allowed to penetrate the first porous body to cause phase separation accompanying dissolution of water-soluble particles at the lower part of the porous body and to afford the second porous body 12 of the polyamide comprising a phase separation texture of open pores in a spinodal decomposition pattern type so as to continue to the first porous body to provide the objective polyamide porous body 10.
