PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing high-quality sintered ore with high productivity and product yield independently of the kind of raw-material ore. SOLUTION: The sintered ore is manufactured from raw materials for sintering prepared by blending, at least as a part of ores as raw material, an ore D having≥0.10 mass% P content and≥2.0 mass% Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>content with two or more kinds of ores selected from the following ores A, B and C: an ore A in which an average pore amount measured by a mercury penetration measurement method is 0.03 to 0.05 cm<SP>3</SP>/g; an ore B in which the average pore amount is 0.10 to 0.12 cm<SP>3</SP>/g; and an ore C in which the average pore amount is 0.07 to 0.09 cm<SP>3</SP>/g. In the above procedure, the ores are blended in such a way that the average pore amount X of the ores, defined by (average pore amount X)=0.04×[%ore A]+0.11×[%ore B]+0.08×[%ore C]+2.0×0.06×[%ore D], becomes≤0.09 cm<SP>3</SP>/g.
