PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polybutadiene comprising a specific high molecular weight polybutadiene and a specific low molecular weight polybutadiene, and to provide a method for producing the polybutadiene with high polymerization activity. SOLUTION: The polybutadiene with≥80% of cis-1,4-structure content and comprises the following (A) and (B) components. Wherein (A) is a polybutadiene having 2-5 of intrinsic viscosity [η] measured in toluene at 30°C, produced by the method using a catalyst comprising a cobalt compound, an organic aluminum compound and water, and regulating molecular weight with acyclic olefin. (B) is a polybutadiene having 0.1-0.5 of intrinsic viscosity [η] measured in toluene at 30°C, produced by the method using a catalyst system comprising a nickel compound, an organic aluminum compound and water.
