PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain paper feeding performance when a small amount of paper is set even when an operability is increased by reducing the operating force of a rear end restriction plate. SOLUTION: The rear end restriction plate 2 is movable in the longitudinal direction, and a lock mechanism is installed on a cassette frame 3. When the rear end restriction plate 2 is moved backward and a paper feed cassette 1 is inserted into an image forming device, the rear end restriction plate 2 is brought into contact with the cassette and a sound insulating cover 105 is opened.
