PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bookbinding equipment of a booklet which enables an efficient integrated bookbinding operation for the booklet, without disposing staffs (operators) between first and second lines so provided as to intersect at right angles. SOLUTION: This bookbinding equipment for the booklet is provided with the first line 4 for obtaining a plurality of signatures 3 while transferring a paper sheet 2 printed in printing works, so divided as to be arranged laterally, and with the second line 5 which so flows as to intersect the first line 4 at a right angle and works for finishing to make the individual signatures 3 into the booklet, while transferring them along the flow. A delivery means 6 for delivering the plurality of signatures in such a manner that they are spaced W enough from each other to enable the finishing on the second line, is provided between the first line 4 and the second line 5. The equipment is so constituted that the plurality of booklets obtained in the first line and arranged laterally can be supplied onto the second line with the sufficient space for processing kept between.
