PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient bit for screw extraction capable of extracting a screw with a crushed engaging hole for a screw driver in simple work. SOLUTION: This bit 1 for screw extraction is provided with a screw extracting part 3 furnished with a tapered head pointed part 5 gradually gradually contracted in diameter toward the head end side from the base end side on a head end part of a handle 2, makes a crossed line of an inner surface of a groove 6 and an outer peripheral surface of the screw extracting part 3 into a cutting blade 7 free to cut in rotating in the reverse direction of the screw cutting direction of a wooden screw 30 by forming the groove 6 extending in the lengthy direction of the handle 2 toward the base end side from the head end of the head pointed part 5 on the outer peripheral surface of the screw extracting part 3 and is provided with a cutout part 8 to rotate the wooden screw 30 together as it is hooked on an inner surface part of an engaging hole 32 when the screw extracting part 3 is cut in to specified depth on a central part of a screw head part 31 on the cutting blade 7.
