<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a wireless station for encrypted communication in a wireless network without troubling a user. <P>SOLUTION: An access point (22) according to the present invention comprises a wireless transceiver (34, 48) and host logic (30) coupled to the wireless transceiver (34, 48) and adapted to provide access by a wireless station (24) to a wired network (23).
