<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication traffic analyzer for determining the communication traffic on a channel constituting a network system in which the data being transmitted/received between nodes is represented as network variables through analysis. <P>SOLUTION: A design information acquiring section 11 accesses network design information D1, extracts information for analysis and delivers it to an analysis section 13. A setting information acquiring section 12 acquires setting information D2 indicative of transmission frequency of a network variable message and transfers it to the analysis section 13.
