BLENDED FELT AND CARBON FIBER FELT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blended felt useful for obtaining a carbon fiber felt (particularly carbon fiber felt for electrode materials for sodium-sulfur battery) capable of efficiently reducing resistibility and excellent in mechanical strength. SOLUTION: The blended felt is composed of a polyacrylonitrile-based flameproofing fiber and a curved carbon fiber in which when a length obtained when the curved fiber is straightly pulled is defined as L1 and a maximum length in natural state of the curved fiber is defined as L2, L1/L2 is specified as≥1.3 in a weight ratio of (99/1) to (88/12).
