PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wireless telephone system in which a wireless terminal carries out good telephone conversation. SOLUTION: A wireless LAN-AP2 transmits a beacon signal to the wireless communication area of its own apparatus, and relays a wireless IP telephone 4 and an IP-PBX1 by providing communication with the wireless IP telephone 4 by wireless LAN. A short distance wireless-AP3 transmits a beacon signal to the wireless communication area of its own apparatus, and relays the wireless IP telephone 4 and the IP-PBX1 by providing communication with the wireless IP telephone 4 through short distance wireless communication of lower power consumption than wireless LAN. The wireless IP telephone 4 provides communication with the short distance wireless-AP3 by using short distance wireless communication when it is receiving beacon signals from both the wireless LAN-AP2 and the short distance wireless-AP3.
