PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator that assures optimum utilization factor in a configuration space and enhances the body force of a stator, in a stator having an outer circumferential edge 8 in an optimum polygon for electric motors. SOLUTION: A wall portion distance 4, h1 of a groove 13 of a stator or a notch portion distance 5, h2 is made maximum; and alternatively, the wall portion distance and the notch portion distance are set equal to each other in magnitude.
