PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipolar device for a mass spectrometer system efficiently transporting an ion without generating a remarkable ion loss or a power loss. SOLUTION: This multipolar device for the mass spectrometer system generally comprises a plurality of conductive rods. The plurality of conductive rods comprise a conductive layer, a resistive layer and an insulating layer between the conductive layer and the resistive layer. This invention can be applied for various intended uses comprising ion transportation, ion fragmentation and ion mass filtering.
