PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal-crimping pressing member allowing an abnormal state to be rapidly detected when a position at which a crimp terminal is fed to the pressing member is deviated from an allowable area. SOLUTION: This terminal-crimping pressing member 9 is used for crushing, in cooperation with an anvil 10 of a base 37, the crimp terminal 100 fed by being connected to a plate-like carrier to crimp it to an end of a wire L. The pressing member includes: a crushing part 19 formed by being cut out at a position facing to the anvil 10; and a guide part 20 formed continuously to both its ends for guiding the crimp terminal 100 and the end of the wire L to the crushing part 19 by inclined surfaces expanded in a tapered shape. In particular, in relation to the feeding position of the crimp terminal 100, a horizontal component of the guide part 20 is divided into an allowable area 21 and a deviated area 22; and a step-like step part 23 is formed on a surface of the deviated area 22 so that sliding resistance of the crimp terminal 100 in the deviated area 22 is set larger than that in the allowable area 21.
