PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium loading apparatus in which rotation being easy to occur in a recording medium is suppressed and the medium can be unloaded smoothly in removing the recording medium in which a connector for connecting to the outside is deviated to one side of a cartridge. SOLUTION: Since engaging pieces 52a, 52a are formed at a moving member 50 so as to become symmetrically with respect to the center line O2-O2 in the width direction of an internal connector 40, pressurizing force by the engaging pieces 52a, 52a when the moving member 50 is moved in an unloading direction can be generated almost symmetrically with respect to the center line O2-O2. Moreover, since frictional force applied between an external connection part 3 and the internal connector 40 is caused almost bilaterally equally with respect to the center line O2-O2, even if a cartridge in which the external connection part 3 is provided at a position being asymmetric with respect to the center line in the width direction, the medium can be smoothly and surely unloaded.
