PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezing refrigerator with an automatic ice maker demountable to the outside of an ice making chamber together with an electric operated mechanism part when not making ice or when using the ice making chamber as a general freezing chamber, wherein many frozen foods can be stored in an ice storage container by substantially increasing the capacity of the ice storage container in the state of demounting the automatic ice maker. SOLUTION: The automatic ice maker is mounted in a freezing temperature chamber in a demountable manner, and an ice tray is arranged to enter into the ice storage container 8. With the ice tray arranged to enter into the ice storage container 8, the automatic ice maker is mounted in the freezing temperature chamber in a demountable manner.
