摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground structure embedding method of propelling and embedding an underground structure under a track to construct a subway, wherein the method contributes to the shortening of a construction period and reduction of construction costs. SOLUTION: According to the underground structure embedding method, a starting side 3 is formed on one side of the track 1 and an arrival side 4 is formed on the other side of the track, and a plurality of square steel pipes 5a each having a friction cut plate 6 mounted on an upper surface thereof, are embedded in parallel with each other from the arrival side 4 to the starting side 3, to thereby form a pipe roof 5. Then, simultaneously with construction work of the pipe roof 5, preparation of propelling and embedding work of the underground structure 2 is carried out on the starting side 3. After formation of the pipe roof 5, the underground structure 2 is propelled, and while the steel pipes 5a are pushed and removed to the arrival side 4 by using a front end face of an upper floor portion 2a of the underground structure 2, the underground structure 2 is embedded along a lower surface of each friction cut plate 6 fixed to a stationary point beforehand.
