PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically notify another medical imaging apparatus of information on the administration of a contrast medium. SOLUTION: The contrast medium is administered to a subject by infusing the contrast medium into the subject by an infusion mechanism part 101. A control part 105 generates image data containing contrasting information on the administration of the contrast medium by the infusion mechanism part 101. Under the control of the control part 105, a communication part 103 transfers the image data to an X-ray diagnostic apparatus 200 by using an image transfer protocol (a DICOM (Digital imaging and communication in medicine) protocol).
