PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation device enabling stable and safe transfer of a cultivation container in a horizontal surface level, increasing crop yields per unit area and promoting efficiency in cultivation work. SOLUTION: The cultivation device is provided with a plurality of lines comprising a plurality of supporting members set on the ground in lines, an arm member one end of which is turnably pivoted with each of the plurality of supporting members, and a cultivation container supported with the other end of the arm member. The device is structured so as to transfer the cultivation container in a horizontal surface level through the synchronized turn of the arm member in the horizontal surface level to enable switching a cultivation position where the plurality of lines of the cultivation containers are put at roughly fixed intervals, and a working position where interval dimension between adjacent cultivation containers is set so as to be larger than that of the roughly fixed interval. In the cultivation device, a container supporting member is arranged so as to support the cultivation container at the other end of the arm member, and a laying member for transferring a guide member set at the arm member is arranged at a plurality of supports and/or in the vicinity thereof.
