<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angular velocity sensor which can calculate the angular velocity with respect to at least two rotational axes among from the three rotational axes of a pitch axis, a roll axis, and a yaw axis of a vehicle, which can be miniaturized, and whose characteristics are improved. <P>SOLUTION: The second arm 3 for a first oscillator 4 and a second oscillator 5 is driven and oscillated in the X-axis direction. The angular velocity around the Z-axis is calculated by detecting bend vibration of the first arm 2 for the first oscillator 4 or the second oscillator 5 in the Y-axis direction. The angular velocity around the Y-axis is calculated by detecting the bend vibration of the first arm 2 for the first oscillator 4 or the second oscillator 5 in the Z-axis direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
