METHOD OF FITTING ANNULAR TIRE TRANSPONDER ASSEMBLY WORKING ALSO AS COUNTER BALANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fitting a transponder module to a pneumatic tire capable of hindering the progress of deterioration of unbalance natural to the tire due to the transponder.

SOLUTION: The method of fitting an assembly of an antenna and a transponder to a tire surface has a step 156 for structuring the antenna and the transponder into a joined assembly, a step 158 for obtaining an effective area of tire unbalance inside the tire, a step 160 for providing the annular assembly in the tie surface in a direction wherein the transponder works as a counter balance against the effective area of the tire unbalance, and a step 162 for fitting the annular assembly to the tire surface.
