摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an XY robot and a component-mounting apparatus, capable of a compact structure and high-speed driving of a moving object. <P>SOLUTION: This XY robot includes X-axis drive sections 6c, 6d for moving the moving object in a X-axis direction, and Y-axis drive sections 6a, 6b for moving the X-axis drive sections in a Y-axis direction. At least one of the X-axis drive sections 6c, 6d and the Y-axis drive sections 6a, 6b are constituted of a shaft-type linear motor, provided with coil sections 30, 34 which include a plurality of coils having through holes in the center thereof, and which are arranged with the plurality of coils so as to form shaft insert holes by arranging the through holes of the coils in a straight line; and columnar sleeve shafts 20, 32 which include a plurality of magnetic poles of permanent magnets, so that their same poles face each other, and which are arranged movably relative to the coil sections in the shaft inserts holes of the coil portions in the axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
