摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a flexible fully-automatic production system which realizes the mass production of a bridgeboard on the basis of a program of higher-order production instruction data, and which corresponds to various types of products. <P>SOLUTION: In this equipment for assembling the bridgeboards of a plurality of split steel plate materials, the bridgeboards comprise the almost square steel plate materials with various specified dimensions, and a butt end surface corresponding an angle of inclination of a staircase is preformed on the butt end surface of the bridgeboard. Accuracy correction is performed by accuracy correction sensors 19 and 20 so that the butt end surface can correspond to a welding reference value, before the various bridgeboards are fed to welding positions. The butt end surfaces of the bridgeboards, which are fed to the welding positions, are positioned and held between a pair of electrodes, and the positioned butt end surfaces are connected together. A burr of a welded part is removed by a trimming device 4 after welding. After trimming, an already welded article is carried out to the next step by a carrying means 6.
