<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag for a front passenger seat capable of exactly protecting the head part of an occupant by suppressing reaction when the head part interferes with the completely inflated airbag. <P>SOLUTION: This airbag is constituted of an outside panel part 35 and an inside panel part 36. The inside panel part 36 is constituted of a pair of left and right foundation clothes 43L and 43R to bisect a region of the inside panel part 36 at the time of completion of the inflation along the horizontal direction. The inside panel part 36 is formed by connecting an edge part 43d on an outer periphery side constituted along outer peripheral edges 40a and 41a of portions 40 and 41 constituting left side and right side wall parts in the outside panel part 35 to the outer peripheral edges 40a and 41a of the portions 40 and 41 constituting the left side and right side wall parts and mutually connecting edge parts 43a on an inner peripheral side by each of the foundation clothes 43L and 43R. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
