PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin sheet capable of being suppressed in its meandering and capable of preventing the formation of a nodal bump (ridge or stripe like protrusion) and production shift, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin sheet is equipped with at least one section which has a plurality of protrusion with a mean height (h) formed on its surface, extends in the longitudinal direction of the sheet and has a predetermined mean thickness T<SB>1</SB>. In the thickness distribution in the width direction of the sheet, the section has a first region which extends in the longitudinal direction at both end parts in the width direction of the sheet and has a mean thickness T<SB>2</SB>not larger than the mean thickness T<SB>1</SB>, and a second region, which is formed in the longitudinal direction of the first region and has a mean thickness T<SB>3</SB>not smaller than the mean thickness T<SB>1</SB>of the first region, and satisfies the relational expression : T<SB>3</SB>≥(T<SB>2</SB>+h). The thickness of the sheet is stepwise or continuously increased from the first region to the second region.
