PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly perform preprocessing of location data so that a user can easily utilize the location data and simplify operations of a program using it. SOLUTION: The trajectory data management system comprises a location detection means 101 which is carried by the user to detect the location of the user; a timepiece means 102; a location data storage means 103 for successively storing a plurality of data on the location such as latitude, longitude, and height from the location detection means 101 together with a time measured by the timepiece means 102; a trajectory data generation means 104 for extracting a set of location data from the contents of the location data storage means 103 on the basis of predetermined conditions to generate trajectory data; and a trajectory data storage means 105 for storing the trajectory data generated by the trajectory data generation means 104.
