PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital correction A/D converter employing an amplifier circuit using negative feedback that carries out distortion correction in response to the amplifier circuit using the negative feedback and to provide an image sensor. SOLUTION: The A/D converter disclosed herein is an A/D converter configured by including a plurality of A/D conversion stages 1, 8 of a pipeline configuration and a digital correction circuit 15. Each A/D conversion stage 1, 8 is provided with an analog input changeover switch 6, 13 for switching an analog input received by each stage and a plurality of external analog inputs, and a digital input changeover switch 7, 14 for switching a signal from a comparator 2, 9 and a signal from the digital correction circuit 15.
