PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image pickup device by which naturally-blurred images are obtained by resolving the problem that unnatural images are taken which give frame-by-frame advancing feeling when a fast-moving photogenic subject has been shot in the case of using a conventional electronic shutter in the image pickup device whose signal amount need to be regulated by a method other than a lens diaphragm. SOLUTION: An output timing period is divided into cumulative timing of a minute time unit to produce a plurality of image data of one screen page. Subsequently, image data with a phase dispersed averagely within the output timing period are accumulated, thereby performing signal amount regulation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
