VOICE PATH SWITCHING SYSTEM AND METHOD, CALL AGENT AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide IP telephone service accompanying voice path switching without adding function to each IP telephone terminal and to alleviate delay at the time of switching voice paths. SOLUTION: A call agent 3 has a voice path establishment instruction means for instructing establishment of the voice path between a voice data device which transfers voice data with a terminal on the originating side and a voice data device at a voice path connecting destination by receiving notification of call origination and a voice path switching instruction means for instructing switching of the voice paths to the voice data device at a voice path switching destination to a voice data device which establishes the voice path with the other voice data device by receiving a trigger of voice path switching. The voice data device has a voice path establishment means for establishing a voice path with the other voice data device at a connecting destination by receiving the instruction of voice path establishment and a voice path switching means for releasing the voice path established with the other voice data device and establishing the voice path with the voice data device at the voice path switching destination by receiving the instruction of voice path switching.
