PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which obtains the signals of two or more images having different aspect ratios respectively without changing an angle of view. SOLUTION: An effective imaging region larger than an image circle is provided to an image sensing element. The four apexes of the effective imaging region are nearly inscribed on the image circle so as to form two or more screens having different aspect ratios. An imaging unit 10 is divided into regions A to D, horizontal scanning circuits 11a to 11d are provided to the regions A to D respectively, and screens compounded of the screens having different aspect ratios are read simultaneously.
