PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized wireless responder capable of carrying out excellent wireless communication even under a metal-covered environment. SOLUTION: The wireless responder is provided which includes: a reception means for receiving an electromagnetic wave input signal; an input transducing means for transducing the electromagnetic wave input signal received by the reception means into a sound wave; a delay medium for propagating the sound wave generated by the input transducing means; an output transducing means for transducing the sound wave propagated in the delay medium into an electromagnetic wave output signal; and a transmission means for wirelessly transmitting the electromagnetic wave output signal produced by the output transducing means.
