PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element capable of utilizing phophorescence by employing a specified compound for a light emitting layer, in the organic electroluminescent element. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element is manufactured by employing a compound and phosphorescent dopant shown by a formula (I). Here, R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>6</SP>are substituents shown by H respectively and independently or a general formula (II), and at least one piece among F<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>6</SP>is the substituent shown by the general formula (II). In this case, R<SP>a</SP>, R<SP>b</SP>and R<SP>c</SP>in the general formula (II) are respectively and independently an aliphatic hydrocarbon group or a phenyl group having the carbon number of 1-10.
