PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a painted face detector capable of facilitating an operation and handling, while allowing detection for small flaws of about 50μm or the like. SOLUTION: This painted face detector is provided with a light source part 2 for emitting parallel light beams having directivity, and a camera 4 for detecting the light beam emitted from the light source part 2 and reflected on a painted face, and the optical axis of the light beam from the light source part 2 is arranged on the same axis with an optical axis of the light beam detected by the camera 4.
