PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper post-processing device simply enabling inputting by comparing a predetermined accumulated number of sheets with an inputted set number of sheets and determining whichever less in number of sheets as the accumulated number of sheets. SOLUTION: This paper post-processing device comprises a processing tray performing binding process, a carrying means capable of leading paper from an inlet part to the processing tray and also reversely carrying it, a switching means guiding the paper to an other carrying passage when the paper is reversely carried by the carrying means, and a paper accumulating means carrying the paper in the other carrying passage in the overlapped state on the next paper reversely carried by the carrying means and discharging them to the processing tray. A set value of the number of paper overlapped with the paper in the processing tray is set beforehand. When the overlapped number of paper sheets inputted from the outside does not match the overlapped number of paper set beforehand, the device controls so that whichever less in number of sheets is equal to the overlapped number of paper sheets.
